High Fashion aka Skinny Bitches
So, I had a photoshoot in Norco at this crazy burned out building covered in graffiti on Sunday. It was a High Fashion/Concept shoot, and I had an idea in my head of how I wanted to look and what I wanted to convey in these images. It's interesting, but ideas often end up taking on a life of their own when I model. I was thinking sleek and clean, and it became 'Blade Runner' meets evening wear meets fugitive. I like the results I think, but I didn't expect them. And so much is lost in translation, in that, I think this still looks edgy, but I didn't feel edgy that day. Or cool. Or fashion-y. I felt hot and dirty and covered with hobo germs, and I wondered how these high fashion girls do it. Stay so thin, model in these crazy positions at these crazy locations, make everything look so easy. The more modeling I do, the more I respect the pro girls, the one's who get paid the big bucks. As glamorous as their lives look, I think they must also be very difficult lives, lonely perhaps, and full of sacrifice. And for everyone but the supermodels, their jobs are over at 23. Every time I open a magazine, I try not to hate, but to appreciate...I try anyway. Skinny bitches. :)

Thankful Always!
This year has been crazy!
Lucasfilm bought by Disney?
Dark Knight trilogy ends while a new Hobbit trilogy begins?!
Hostess goes out of business???!!!!
I am thankful for all the fun I've had with multile cons, photo shoots, and film and TV projects. 2013 is going to be crazy!
Some of my favorite highlights include Stan Lee's Comikaze, shoots with Allen Freeman of Inland Empire Models & Photographers Group, working with GameFob Network, promoting my film THE RED HOUSE, doing the Tron 30th Annverary celebration for Beyond the Marquee, and so much more. Also loved working on Robot Combat League recently, and producing my own projects.
Stay healthy and positive.

Getting Ready for Comikaze!
I'm getting my hair and makeup done in Costa Mesa by some talented people. Had to get up super early this morning, and was up late last night making costume modifications. Did a whole day of set up yesterday at the LA Convention Center with the Jurassic Con booth, the Chiodo Bros., and the Elvira Macabre Museum. Today I will be at the CheapGraphicNovels.com booth! Can't wait to see Stan Lee!

Spiderman is Amazing!
I just saw the Amazing Spiderman! Mark Webb did an impressive job directing, giving the film an indie movie vibe. Andrew Garfield was convincing, but his Peter Parker is definitely geared towards a younger generation of emo, hipster, skater-types (and he cries a lot). It was really cool to see Peter construct his own web-slinging devices (similar to the comics). Although, to be more different, they could have had Spiderman shoot webs out of his ass, like real-life spiders do! LOL. Emma Stone was beautiful and spunky as Gwen Stacy, and their off-screen romance bled over to on-screen chemistry. The effects have improved over the years, and the Lizard, which I thought looked busted in the previews, actually looks good in the film. Spiderman moved better in this one, with free-running elements, and Spidey POV shots, but overall as a film, it doesn't feel as "finished" as Spiderman 1. This re-boot is half indie film, half action/adventure, and it works, but perhaps not as well as it could have. I still recommend you see it!

Above is a pic Eric, my boyfriend, and I at Wonder Con. Eric has been so supportive of my work, cosplay, and web series! Whether Eric is acting as a pirate, singing, or going to conventions, he is always a delight to see. Jedi Elvis takes classic Elvis songs and puts a Star Wars spin on them.

Red-haired Wonder Woman?
Wonder Woman Rules!
Wonder Woman, or Princess Diana of Themyscira, has been standing up for justice and inspiring women for decades. But the traditionally dark-haired Greek goddess look of Wonder Woman has wiggle room for us scarlet-haired vixens! That's right! Many know of the blonde Wondergirl, but often forget of the red Amazing Amazon...
Don't forget Artemis! She has a temper and loves her bow and arrow! She even filled in for Diana for a little while as the Mighty Maiden.
Check out her profile on Comic Vine.
